JONNY RAMIREZ

Jonny Ramírez is a true Tejano treasure and one of the Tejano’s most beloved celebrities. He is a Texas native and has spent the last twenty-five years in radio. Among his many accomplishments, Jonny has taken top honors as San Antonio’s # 1 morning DJ for many years. His popular morning show is also syndicated in Houston.

Jonny’s reputation precedes him, and he has somewhat of an international appeal, having being featured on CNN, the BBC and the NHK in Japan within the past few years. He has been a guest star at many stations throughout the country, including KMLE in Arizona, WPLJ in New York, and Westwood One Studios in Los Angeles, home of Casey Kasem’s “America’s Top 40 Countdown.” Jonny Ramirez has even been invited to dine with the President at the White House in October of 1995!

Jonny really has a heart of gold and actually sat 56 feet high up in the air on a KXTN billboard for days to help raise money for Emilio’s Tejanos For Children, every Labor Day weekend for a number of years, and has done similar charitable work to help raise awareness for altruistic causes such as the San Antonio Food Bank, the American Red Cross, the San Antonio Police Officer’s Association, St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital, and many others.

Jonny has done numerous endorsements for many high profile national and local advertisers, and he is one of the most popular Hispanic endorsers in the state, having done personal endorsements for clients such as Olive Garden, Red Lobster, Lens Crafters, Red McCombs Ford, Proctor & Gamble, Crest, Gain, Dr. Rothligner, and many others!
